Persisting in the tenet of " Survive based on technology, and development based on innovation" and by means of self- R&D and cooperation, Huafu Group has innovated and developed some 300 different advanced products and technologies, all of which have been widely used in the fields of oil recovery and water treatment industries from those oil magnates including Sino-pec, CNPC and CNOOC, etc . The Research & Design Institute of Huafu annually undertakes and completes over 10 different R&D tasks. By now, the group owns 45 national patents, of which 5 are national invention patents.

For years , Liaoning Huafu Group has strived for progress and development and has achieved many honorary titles given by the government . Among those main achievements, the "Hollow suck-rod over pump electric-heating apparatus" was awarded as "National Torch Plan Project Certificate" by National Science and Technology Ministry, and some 3 million tons heavy oil annually were developed in domestic oilfields relying on this heating technology. The "Heavy oil produced water treatment technology for feeding to OTSG" was granted as National Science and Technology Progress Second Award in 2008, and some 200,000 tons/ day of produced water have been re-use to feed to OTSG which generates huge economic and environmental benefits. The other honorary titles also include "Key high-tech enterprises of National Torch Plan Projects ", "Leading enterprise of Chinese environmental industry", "Liaoning provincial private tar enterprises", "Super-stage reputation enterprise" and "Top 100 strong private enterprises in Liaoning province", etc.
