For air flotation processes, thorough mixing of reactions is also important. Because air flotation has fast separation properties, its front-end process must be completed quickly in order to give full play to its advantages. The sedimentation tank requires a reaction time of 15~30min, and it is impossible to provide such a long reaction time in the air flotation tank. Air flotation is to use the action of microbubbles (about 20~30um) to make the flocs float, so as long as the flocs grow enough to be adhered to by the microbubbles. The diameter of the floc required for precipitation is generally more than 1mm, and the requirements for air flotation in this regard are much more relaxed, and the diameter of the floc is too large, but it may be broken during the mixing process with the bubble. Therefore, the reaction time of air flotation can be greatly shortened. The tubular mixing reactor is adopted, which adopts the combination of pipeline mixing and reaction, and meets the different requirements of mixing and reaction by controlling the flow rate in the pipeline.   • HOW IT WORKS

    The basic requirement of a mixing facility is that the mixture of chemicals and water must be fast and homogeneous. In order to destabilize the colloidal particles in the water as soon as possible, the agent must be diffused in the water as soon as possible and uniformly, and the diffusion process of the agent in the water is completed through the mixing facility. There are many mixing facilities, including pump mixing, tubular mixing, hydraulic mixing pool mixing, mechanical mixing, etc.
    Tubular mixing is the simplest mixing facility, in which the agent is directly put into the pipe, and the flow rate of the pipe is used to quickly mix the agent with the sewage. This mixing method requires a high flow rate in the pipe, and to improve the mixing efficiency, venturi pipes or orifice plates are often added to the pipeline.

     

  • TECHNICAL INFORMATION

    1. When the sewage needs to adjust the pH, the neutralizing agent can be added through the attached parts.
    2. The mixing energy required for coagulation in the mixing reactor is obtained by turbulence of the mixing unit and pipeline.
    3. After adding the agent, a strong stirring effect is obtained through throttling measures and reducing the pipe diameter, and the mixing flow rate is controlled at 1.2~1.5m/s, and the mixing time is 0.5~1.0s.
    4. The flow rate of the pipeline in the reaction stage is 0.8~1.0m/s, and the total reaction time is 15~30s.
    5. When the dissolved air helps the floc separation, part of the dissolved gas can also be added to return water.
    6. In order to track different process stages, 3~4 sampling points are set on the mixing reactor.
